Today's Special: Strained Carrots

For a week now Beau has been scarfing down oatmeal and banana cereal once a day. And I do mean scarfing. If you go too slowly he beats his fists and grunts caveman style with his mouth open and tongue out as far as it can go. Today we had our first baby food. Carrots were what was on the menu. Beau loved them. He didn't really give a good photo-op because I was waiting for the classic "baby tasting food for the first time" face. He was all smiles and approving grunts. I have a feeling there isn't going to be much that baby doesn't like.
